Housekeeping Positions

The Quality Hotel and Suites are seeking efficient housekeeping staff preferably with some experience. Housekeeping is responsible for upholding the Hotel’s cleanliness standards of all guest rooms and common areas located in the hotel. Ideal candidates are dependable, take pride in their work, and work well with others. Housekeeping Responsibilities – Primary Duties
 Cleaning guestrooms mid-stay and after departure; assure all rooms are up to ‘Choice’ company standards
 Making beds
 Replacing dirty linens and towels
 Dusting, polishing and disinfecting
 Cleaning upholstery
 Cleaning microwave, refrigerators, and coffee pot areas
 Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping
 Cleaning showers, shower doors/curtains, toilets and sinks
 Cleaning mirrors and glass surfaces
 Restocking guestroom amenities, like toiletries, drinking glasses and notepads
 Removing garbage, recycling, and room service trays
 Organizing and stocking housekeeping carts
 Complete all daily room assignments
 Deep cleaning when necessary
 Clean and maintain common areas, stairwells, etc. for cleanliness
 Sanitizing and clean all restrooms
 Positively represent and promote the property
 Ensure guestrooms are not missing anything (linens, towels, hairdryers, irons, etc.)
 Report any missing items, damage or smoking to manager and/or front desk
 Notify maintenance dept. of broken appliances, damage, burnt out light bulbs, etc.
 Upholding hotel confidentiality and security standards
 Inform Executive Housekeeper, Inspector or Front Desk when rooms are ready to be occupied by next guest
 Reporting all lost and found items
 Respecting “do not disturb” signs and the guests privacy
 Assist guests with any questions pertaining to hotel services and policies; assist guests when possible
 Review and execute daily duties assigned by manager or requested by Hotel Administration .
Job Type: Part-Time
Pay Rate: 12.55hr
